
At morning break time the foyer would fill up with pupils snacking on their crisps or Jammie Dodgers bought from the Tuck Shop (the service counter, middle of photo). At lunchtime the foyer used to double up as the dining area, with meals served from the same counter - anyone fancy chocolate concrete and lumpy custard?

When I attended Duddy, this used to be the Music Room, a grand piano stood about where I'm standing. Music teachers were Mr Russell, and Miss Linda Pearson.

On display were photographs from previous years at the school, including some photographs from the surrounding area showing before, during, and after the rebuilding of Nechells.

Ground Floor - There wasn't a door on the right in my day; it was just an opening to a passageway that led to the Head Master's, Deputy Head's, and the Secretary's Offices.
